How to find a home
Once you are registered with HomePoint you will be provided with a 'Username' and password, to enable you to search for properties online. Those who do not have access to the internet, and who qualify as Priority, Gold and medical Silver, will be provided with a paper list of the available properties each week.
'Bidding' for a property
'Bidding' is a term we use for applying for a property. Once you have found a property you are interested in you can apply in a number of ways.
- By bidding (applying) for a property on line
- By phoning our dedicated 'bid' line on 01588 676282
- By ringing our offices on 01588 676246
- By returning the bid slip on the available property list sent by post
Once the 'bidding' cycle has ended a list of all the people who have applied for the property will be sent to the landlord who own the property and they will make their decision, off that list, by starting at the top and working down until a suitable applicant has been found.
